Water User's Agreement

Before Getting Started you will need the following:
This agreement, between Silver Creek Water Corporation (SCWC), a non-profit corporation, organized and existing under and by virtue of the law of the State of Indiana, hereinafter called the Utility, and Member(s) stated below.
Whereas the Member desires to purchase water from the Utility and to enter into this water user’s agreement as required by the By-Laws of the Utility. Now, therefore, in consideration of the mutual covenants, promises and agreements herein contained, it is hereby understood and agreed:
Before Getting Started you will need the following:
- A credit or debit card to pay your Membership and Start Up fee of $205.00. (A processing fee will be added.)
- A scan or image of the member's photo ID.
- A scan or image of the spouse's photo ID, if applicable.
This agreement, between Silver Creek Water Corporation (SCWC), a non-profit corporation, organized and existing under and by virtue of the law of the State of Indiana, hereinafter called the Utility, and Member(s) stated below.
Whereas the Member desires to purchase water from the Utility and to enter into this water user’s agreement as required by the By-Laws of the Utility. Now, therefore, in consideration of the mutual covenants, promises and agreements herein contained, it is hereby understood and agreed:
- The Utility shall furnish, subject to limitations, such quantity of water as the Member may desire in connection with their property.
- The Member shall install and maintain at their own expense a service line, which shall begin at the water meter.
- The Utility will determine the location, size, and quantity of meters to serve each property.
- The Member shall pay for water under the approved and prevailing Schedule of Rates & Charges.
- The Member agrees to abide by the By-Law and Rules and Regulations of the Utility.
- Those listed on this Agreement shall have full access to account including but not limited to, refund of membership fee.
- You are responsible for any damages to company property that is installed on your property.
- *If applicable, by selecting Paperless Billing you agree to assume any charge(s) that is generated from your phone or email provider.
- **If applicable, Authorization for the Auto Payment Plan is to remain in full force and effect until SCWC has received written notification from me (or either of us) of its termination. (Termination could take up to five business days)
